Kitchen Knives?

I worked as a line cook in several kitchens in my bachelor days and was familiar with Calphalon pots and pans, very good quality. So when we got married 11-yrs ago, we put Calphalon knives on our registry. The knives have been real good to us. And we beat them too. Drop them on the tile. Run them through the dishwasher. Cut stuff on glass plates. All the stuff you're not supposed to do. But a few runs along the steel every now and then and they are back to razor sharp. I put them right up their with Henckels and Wustoff.
Got a couple of those and like them. I also have some cheap Revere and Farberware knives that I bought at Walmart that get shaving sharp and are excellent quality.
