Lanier - Same Pattern

Out on another half day trip with Monty and Aaron. Talk about funny and the trash talking on turbo mode....holy smokes the laughs today.

The morning started out a little slow but started picking up once the sun got up good. Couldn't get them to come up for a topwater or swimbait...so rigged up everyone a fluke. After a couple of fish...that bite slowed too. So I went to the spybait and drop shot.
The sun was up good...we started running humps with the spybait first then easing in and dropping on them brush. Bingo! Monty decided to get a wind knot in some braid...I mean, possibly the biggest one I've ever seen! Aaron decided to pose with a fish he caught...lets leave it there

Ended the few hours with 12 in the boat...spybait 90 series today with the wind and drop shot, it was LJ's Obsession, LJ's Passion, and Candy...those colors got "thumped"!
Ton's of laughs...even got lunch at Pig Tails. LJ

Very nice LJ. Glad you're feeling better and back on the water. I'm taking Leonard out from Bait Junkys on Monday. Maybe we could do lunch at pigtails and talk about bait making? Did that guy have that braid loaded on a big Penn International? That looks like about 4 miles of braid ball right there.....LOL

Give me shout Monday - maybe we can meet up at PP's again. Not sure how it happened but when I looked back at what was going on, I laughed until I cried...by far the #1 mess with braid I've seen.
