Lee County Morrow Mountain Type II

I found this (what I'm calling) Morrow Mountain Type II in Lee County, GA the other day. Side of a sandy soiled berm had washed out and there it was; formerly buried about 2.5 feet down. Just wanted to share. Thanks!

Pretty sure that’s gonna be a Levy...
Morrow Mountains typically don’t have that tall of a stem..
Nice find!!

Looks more like a Putnam to me.

Very nice find. I need a book so I can start trying to identify some of my finds

I think a lot of points that are called different names in different places probably came from the same culture. The shape is just right for a MM type II, but most of the ones I've found around here are about half that size.

Thanks for all of the ideas and replies. Hillbilly's right about the size that's a huge identifier I didn't consider (although I took the time to measure it-duh). Attached is a MM 2 from projectile points.net I just thought they were the spitting image of each other?morrowmountain2.jpeg
