My son and 2 of his buddies took a trip to coosa in the wind saturday 11th. they went to brushy branch first but the wind got so bad they left. On the way home the wind died down as they were going pass the lock & dam. Beings ones not to give up they stopped and fished for 3 hours. they caught over 60 fish. mixed bag of small stripe 13-15 inches, hybreds and white bass. A great time was had by all. They fished at the lock where the water starts to calm using double green jigs on each line. They caught only one crappie about 1.5 lbs
