Long shot on a call ID

Came across an old fanny pack in an estate sale that was like a time capsule back to the good old days of mountain turkey hunting. A couple old HS Strut slates, Black Magic and Mag Raspy Hen. And this:



Don't know who D.A. was. Chances are, he was from western North Carolina or Northeast Georgia. Any ideas?

Those are my initials and that’s how I make my D’s but unfortunately I’ve never made any calls!!!

Don’t write off that black magic call. I have one and have killed many gobblers with it.
In my opinion it was one of the better mass produced calls
