Ok so that a bit of a fib facepalm: but I haven't been posting like i should :hair: Anyways got a couple of bucks the other day ( 6 in one group) and I may have found the camera to replace the Kodak, it's about the same size has 12 meg instead of 8 and zooms to 18 instead of 12. Hoss sent me some info on another I was looking at. I read about shutter lag and focus time and it was like about 0.8 and how sloooow that is but after I got to reading this really doesn't seem that bad when you think about it:huh: Anyways I'm leaning towards the Panasonic fz 35 not a new one but used

It's almost the exact same size as the kodak just more zoom so it's got my interest. Just can't put a bid on this one ( as much as I like) cause my credit card is a little streatched cause I've been putting some money on the truck to make sure it's ready and some new gear for the elk hunt ( pack frame ( old one taped together) new day pack and saw (old day pack coming apart at the seams) . But 6 bucks from the other day

Oh and something I never thought about is how hard it is to find a new point and shoot that has a view finder. Yea they give you a 3" screen but if the sun is wrong it's really hard to see and so I like a view finder myself wihich the panisonic has
