Mama

What with it being Fall and the leaves changing, I remembered something my Mama said years ago. Her and Daddy had been to the mountains with some friends to see the leaves. It was an exceptional year for fall color.
After they got home, Mama said," I just don't see how anybody could see the beauty of those mountains and all the colors and not believe in God."
Simple words from a simple lady, but she was right and I think about that every fall.

Sounds about right. The leaves could just brown up at first sign of cold and drop, instead we have such beauty for about a month.

Smart woman and she's right. I guess that's what I miss most about not living in north Georgia any more. I miss the trip up around the mountains and seeing the leaves change...

Down here in south Georgia, they don't turn all bright and stuff. Instead, they slowly die and are all gone about the time January comes around...

Nothing spectacular like the mountains.
