Many conversations on storing egg through the winter - here’s my favorite.

Water glassing is one way. The problem I have is it takes up too much shelf space. 6 eggs in this jar.

Freezing is another way - my favorite. I prefer this because I can put 25 dozen eggs in a small place in the freezer verses 50 quart jars on the shelf.

These are 2 ounce cups. Pour the egg in, poke a couple holes in the yoke so it doesn’t expand……put a lid on it, freeze over night, vac seal the next day.,

These cups are inexpensive and reusable. Let your eggs thaw on their own, if you want to cook two - the rest can sit in fridge in their cups.

It’s important to turn one row with your lid up on one row with lid down, lid down or your vac sealer will not seal where it sits flat / stackable. IMG_5638.jpegIMG_5639.jpegIMG_5640.jpegIMG_5641.jpeg

Never did water glassing, but suppose to last a year. Never did freezing either.

Neighbor dehydrates them and makes a powder, another has a freeze dryer.
