Just returned from a week of fishing in Marathon Key Fl. The wind made it tough and kept us inshore two days but still got some Yellow Tails and Mangroves. The four day offshore total was 34 Mahi and 13 Tuna great week of fishing!

Between 400 to 600 ft we didn’t pick any up in the deep water around the hump when we got our tuna.

Awesome trip and catch. Those mahi sure are pretty when they first come out of the water.

Looks like fun. Those Pompano and Dolphinfish are about my favorite. Fast action, like a Chinese fire drill when you hit. Those football's are hard fighters and good eating. Throw in a Kingfish and a few Wahoo. ❤ Dolphinfish and Wahoo are really fast. It's exciting to watch them chase skirts. I go around Turkey Point from Homestead straight out in Biscayne Bay. Another fun trip is a 2 night, 3 day trip to Dry Tortugas. I haven't been in a while. My GF and I were talking about going down just a few days ago. Glad y'all hammered them !😁

Awesome man just awesome!!!
The key's are on our list one year soon!
What kinda tuna are those?
Do you haul your own boat back and forth? If so how easy is that? I heard hauling your boat through the keys could be a pain. Idk if any truth to that but interested.

We were planning on doing the Dry Tortugas but the winds did not cooperate!

Black fin tuna! Fortunately I have a friend who has a friend that has a boat and I mean a really nice boat and a house and I get invited pretty much every Memorial Day week the last few years. Great deal for everyone he needs people that love to fish hard and chip in with sweat equity and we are more than happy to oblige. 6A8584DC-8E42-483D-8539-AE9B90C59EF8.jpeg g 84C790F0-5FED-4870-9575-0119BD9CE116.jpeg 04BFDB22-A918-4542-9366-0A84B8C841D2.jpeg

PLEASE let me know. I'll kick in more than my fair share. + I had a 26 foot Mako when I lived there. I'm a pretty good Skipper too.. That would give the owner a chance to fish as well. Been there, done that.
Hit me up. I stay on ready.😁
