March Fishing !!!

I have heard so much about how March is the time to land the big ones. Spawning , etc. I have never had the chance and was going to so some this month but this weather would seem to be about the worst for catching fish. Whassup ?? Lake wind advisories. 20 to 30 + mph winds all day long. Is anybody catching any fish on Lanier?

lanier...no not really. they are supposedly in creek channels in about 5 ft of water. use an open face and bring an extra battery and the wind dont much matter

It's bad(high winds) down here too. It may still be too cold for spawning just yet?

Had a decent day on Lanier today, I posted a report a few minutes ago before I read your thread. Tough in that wind though!

i'm holding out til sunday. gonna get way up a creek and try to get me a big'en. this is the month for it. there was a guy in todays paper holding a 44 lber caught last tues at the hill.
