March Trip, Sinclair or Oconee

We are looking at talking a trip up to either Lake Sinclair or Oconee around the fourth weekend of March. If you were to pick from the two choices, which lake would you pick and what fish would you target? Any advice is very much appreciated.

Oconee, hands down.

Sinclair is full of dinks and trash fish.

Thanks for the replys, we have been leaning toward Sinclair. Primarily targeting catfish and crappie. Some linesides would be nice but we have never targeted them before.

I catch linesides on Sinclair just about year round fishing the dock lights. It gets really good around the time your talking about.try up in murder creek, little river and rooty creek.

I book a place last night on the north end of Sinclair, about 4 miles down from the Oconee dam. We will be there Thursday night through Sunday afternoon, depending on where the fish are we can be mobile if needed.
