Mercruiser Alpha One trim fluid

I am replacing the motor on my trim assembly before it leaves me stranded.The fluid that was in it looked like it had water in it so I am cleaning it all out and replacing. What fluid do I need to use?I have read from ATF to 10w/30.Any recomendations?

mercruiser makes a power trim fluid just for their systems, they have it at west marine or any merc dealer, you can put dextron II atf in it but Ive heard it will ruin the seals and o-rings in the clinders over time. 30w motor oil will work but it will slow the system down in the winter.
