Metal target 22 caliber match

Today i went to my first match. Ive been competing in long distance, 600-1,000 yd., but my back went out and shooting prone does it no good. So my shooting friends invited me to shoot by pod and scope on a bench. Small metal animal targets from 87 to 207 yds. I was using my Mark II Savage that shoots 1/4 ", 5 shot groups. I hit 37 of of 40 in the wind..great fun

man, that does sound like fun. I haven't shot like that in years. I had cataract surgery on my right eye last year, and finally feel like I might actually be able to not embaress myself to badly at a match like that.

Yes we had lots of wind. One of my misses was when the wind gauge was turning in a circle. Should have waited
