Hope everyone is safe and dry.....seems to be monsoon season for many of us.



I tend to get a hankering for Chinese or quasi-Chinese about once a week.


Jumping on some spicy Beijing beef this evening. Hooked on these chicken egg rolls, too.

My son got clearance for camps today after surgery! healing is going well!

We stopped at 5 guys on the way home. So, the leftovers tonight of carnitas nacho soup. It was good last night. Fermenting for 24h it’ll be even better

My sister gave me a cow tongue so I made tacos de Lengua with a roasted poblano, chorizo, corn and black bean soup. I wish tongues were 10 lbs. I don't know which is the best part of a cow, tongue or hanger steak.
