My 700!

While I own several Model Sevens, I think I only have one M700 left in my collection. It's one of the original M700ti models in .270. It's very lightweight rated at 5.5 pounds in LA. It has a fluted bolt and hollow bolt knob. I'm keeping it around for my "old age" rifle, light as it is....lolView attachment 944928View attachment 944929

About as perfect of an all-around deer rifle as I've ever seen.

Easy toting, flat shooting, mild handling.....in my favorite deer round !!!

I am a huge .270 fan as well. I've got two "pretty" ones. I bought one about 10yrs to make into my personal JOC tribute rifle. Its a pre '64 Featherweight (like Jack's favorite rifle) .270 with a 4X scope just like Jack had on his.

The other is the JOC tribute rifle they built in very limited numbers in 2012 or 13. It's stock is a replica of what Al Beisen did for Jack's favorite rifle(s) Jack had a second built, just the same, he liked the first so much. It's a custom stocked M70 Featherweight.

My rifle is a Remington 700 Mountain Rifle blue/wood in .280 caliber! My favorite of any gun I have ever owned!!
Would have bought a .270 if they had it!
I do have a Savage .270!
