Thanks everyone, she is still sending pictures to all the boys that hunt at school , and my dad was probably more excited than both of us , he heard the shot from his house , and the gun was my birthday present 30yrs ago and still getting it done !

Man I love youth weekend!!!! We actually slept in because it was raining and nasty weather, went about 10 and sat up on a chufa patch and was pretty disappointed when we got there to see 2 strutting, we watched from about 200 yds after about an hr they left and we moved in and got set up , and just done a little blind calling and about an hr later had 3 longbeards enter the plot , and she made a perfect 25yd shot , not sure who was happier !

Yes it’s a 1300 , she was shooting 23/4 Winchester #5 , and they surprised me while patterning , I’ve been shooting the longbeards and love them but man do they kick
