My first muzzle loader

Last year my FIL gave me this old muzzle loader he got at a pawn shop for $75. This morning we were finally able to get together and shoot it. The photo has my shots from 25 and 50 yards. 250 grain sabots and an 80 load of pyrodex. Definitely fun to shoot!

Nice, you will have a lot of fun with it.
I am really surprised shoot well out of it. It probably has a 1:48 twist and sabots like a faster 1:28.
I always shoot either lead conicals or patched round balls out of mine with that twist.

Good Luck and have fun!
