Worse than this is catching one to the face on a motorcycle.
I caught one of the regular brown ones in the forhead at 25 mph on an ATV. About made me see stars, I can't imagine hitting one of those big guys at that speed or faster.

Even worse than getting hit with one though, is driving your single cab truck in heavy but moving traffic and realizing one has built a web across your open rear window, and is bobbing in and out with the wind a few inches away from your face, with the potential to drop off in the cab at any moment if that web breaks...

Seen several at our hunt camp in Johnson county last weekend. Had one set up on my porch. I relocated it to the woods behind my camper. NExt morning he was back. I just let him be cause his web was full of bugs
