Well I've been working on this for a while, but she's done! This is in our mud room entering the house...
8' tall, 74" long...about 21" deep at the base...4 bays for each family member, with slots at the top for books, phones, hats, gloves, and weapons...
It's all birch plywood with furring strips on the face, all pocket screws, and screwed to the wall...
I bought a 8' butcher block oak top and cut it down to size and stained and urethaned it for the seat.
Found some trays for shoes that fit perfect online.
The upper hooks are for coats, the middle hook is through the wall with a hollow wall anchor for backpacks...
I did all the work myself...it ain't perfect but it looks pretty darn good...
Bought the hooks from Build.com and the butcher block top at some countertop and flooring place...
