I have a new setup for 2019, thanks to a fellow forum member. It’s a Hoyt Dorado, 55# @ 28”. I’m shooting Easton FMJ Autumn Orange arrows. I haven’t picked a broadhead out yet, I’m trying to choose between a few different heads.
It’s been a couple of years since I hunted with traditional gear, It’ll be nice to get back in the saddle. I’m pumped!

I just pulled the trigger on a longbow too.
I found a killer deal on a Martin Savannah Stealth. It'll be here in a few days.

I got the Savannah longbow in the mail other day and did fairly well on my first few groups of arrows. I’m really liking the way it feels and shoots.
A new, 8125 string made by 60X for the Dorado arrived the other day. It is now installed, all tuned up and ready to roll. Ive shot it a lot in the last several days and all seems well. I can’t wait til August when small game opens. I’m going to try to break them both in on a WMA pig or some tree rats! I have several wallows and some travel corridors already picked out as my setups.

I’ve been bitten by the bug. I bought a decent sized lot of 2018 aluminum arrows and have been flinging them boogers at the Block for a few days now.
They fly really good with the Tree Sharks on them too.
