Pinhoti Trail Near Cave Spring, GA. Relatively new trailhead. Room for horse trailers too. Multi use trail; bike, hike, horse. Section 14 over Santa Claus Mountain about 4.5 miles one way.

Good way to start a new year! And, that padlock doesn't look too functional any more.
That Benton McKay Trail runs all the way up here through the Smokies.

does anyone know of someone who shuttles hikers around in north ga. ? I guess i could huber it but i thought i rememeber somebody saying somethin about shuttlng hikers around .

the benton macaye trail about 300 miles . the florida trail , pinhoti trail ,benton macaye & appalachian trail gonna be one long continious walk someday .

There are a couple FB Groups devoted to N GA hiking. I have seen people post about what yer asking. I don't remember specifics but might search for those groups and join to see what has been said.
