I now have a 2019 Dodge Charger for work vehicle, got it with 100 miles . When it’s hot, mainly late afternoon, and sit idling for an extended period of time, there is an awful smell of exhaust fumes inside the vehicle. Like stated above really only notice in the heat of the day. I had a 2013 prior and had a similar issue but the 19 seems to be much worse. Is this a common issue with the Chargers, and is there a fix for it?

Thanks J.R.

I checked with my service manager and he didn't remember any issues so far with this. Go and ask your nearest dealership about it. These are usually sealed good as FCA uses a good bit of foam in between the quarters around that fuel cell and shields under it as well. I ran a Alldata TSB report and didn't see one for this issue pop up yet either.
