I enjoyed Buffy as entertainment. But every book being offered today has a female lead who can kick touche. Sure, females that average one foot shorter and 50 lbs lighter can kick and punch a MMX fighter into submission. Escapist literature is still supposed to be somewhat plausible.

Plus leads survive the apocalypse against all comers. Right. And they never go potty.
