Number 3 in bama

Although the limit in Alabama is 5 I'm gonna have to end my season with 3. Killed my first afternoon bird today and couldn't be happier with how this season has gone. This gobbler and another were strutting in a field I have permission to hunt and one of them I saw breed a hen. There were also 2 jakes with them. The wind was blowing pretty hard and I was able to crawl up a hill and there they were within 60 yards and was able to kill one.

He was a good bird, not my biggest but still very happy with him.

Haha something like that. I'm just glad I finally had success in the afternoon. I think I'll try the afternoon hunt more often from now on. It seems to be very underrated.
