But you left out one thing in all your answers so I’ll say it,
“lighten up Francis”!

I thought it was Frances (so you could also imply the person was a girly-girl) but I hear ya.

Great news is I am not upset and don’t have my knickers in a twist at all.

We have varying viewpoints.

No more and no less.

Now, I have about 5 acres of new deer plot to mow and start disking in - and will apply 20,000 lbs of lime after that - so this Frances needs to get busy!

In an incredibly ironic turn of events (at least in my opinion), I had to euthanize a male hound today.

Thank God for a pistol when you need one.

He was remarkably emaciated and something (dog, auto strike?) had basically ripped his face open. There was literally no saving him. Could not get anyone from Animal Control (very remote area) to assist.

He was a handsome fellow but his health was clearly stolen from him.

He should have weighed 50 lbs or so and if he was 18-20, I would be surprised.

He is at the corner of US 321 and Grapevine road in western Bamberg County SC (southwest side of intersection) if any of you folks would like to put a “Get Well” balloon on him. Let me know when you would like to do that and I will meet you there.

It broke my heart but what are you going to do?

Yes, I drug him off the side of the road so he could rot in peace.

In his honor - and through my tears - I wrote this:

“Nobody’s Hound”

Now I lay you down to sleep -
My heart just breaks, I want to weep

Your race is run, the end is nigh -
At days long end, we bid goodbye

You have no soul, on which to pray -
But suffering ends, this cloudy day

Rest now, my friend and grieve your last -
Nobody’s hound, your mantle passed

Some people just can't let things go......and some talk/ type to hear their head rattle.

Everybody hears my head rattle anyway. My hips too; they rattle a lot these days.
