I have hunted for 40 years in a 18 member 4,000 acre club at shell bluff on the Savannah river. We normally kill 10-12 8 pt+ per year & cull 10 does and as many hogs as we see. Opening day we killed 3 great 8 pt bucks. Due to all the rain we have had this year there was lots of soft mass all so all the bucks had really good racks this year. Everyone saw deer opening morning and more important we had a really great dinner the night before. WE are started off to have a great year.
