Did anyone else get the email saying u don't need to have the paper copy as long as u have the app on your phone and report it right then and there?

That's indeed the case. However, if you don't have service, you should have the paper copy.

That's not my experience. I love the app, but most places I hunt has no service, and I have to use the paper tags.

At least on my phone (Android) the app did not update automatically. The screens looks very different than the previous app.

You are 100% correct. I have a iPhone and had to delete the app and re install it... definitely different

Not sure if the old app will update with out service??

I got the update automatically on my iPhone and DNR sent an e-mail to me as well.
