Pear Tree

I have about a 12 ft tall pear tree by my house that produces a few pears. Do you think i could dig it up and transplant it out to one of my food plots without stressing and killing it?

Probably, if you get a good rootball and do it before it sprouts. I would probably prune the top back pretty heavy, too.

Probably some time in February.

Keep the one near the house for people. Order a couple keiffers and a couple late bearing pears from The Wildlife Group in Alabama. Keiffer pears produce in a few years. My late bearing pears are not old enough to begin just yet but they are doing good.

Get ya a couple Dixie Delights from TWG as well. You’ll fight the deer for them.
