Average how many tons per acre of pine should the second cutting yeild. It has been 10 years since first cut.

Need more info. Such as species, stem count per acre, total age, and geographic area it's located, as that gives a guesstimate as to site index.

Probably about 20 year old in Jasper county. Std planted pines.

If it's been approx 10 years since the 1st thinning, that would probably put this stand to at least the 25 to 27 year old category.

Without knowing any more specifics, I'd guess you're looking at 50 to 60 tons per acre. With it running 2/3 pulpwood and 1/3 chip-n-saw.

That would be a guesstimate.......of course factors weigh in on that greatly.
