When is best time to plant? Thank in advance!

I’m in west ga and we planted ours this year at 2 different times , some I think the last week of turkey season and the other at the end of June and couldn’t tell a difference , both fields done great , actually seen 9 gobblers a couple weeks ago digging in them while deer hunting
