I cut some jalapenos in half and stuffed them with cream cheese, peeled and deveined shrimp, a sprinkle of Old Bay, wrapped them in bacon, and put them in the oven. Tasty!

I've done poppers countless times, but I've never thought to add shrimp to the mix. Gotta give this a try. Those look great.

I cooked them at 400 degrees. They would probably be even better on the grill. I just cook them until the bacon is done. The grease from the bacon helps keep the shrimp from drying out.

It works better if you cut the bacon strips in half.

Shrimp poppers rock! Been there done that. Crawfish poppers are goody too!
