Preparing for pigs

Now that turkey season is gone I can put my pig pipes back out and concentrate on killing some pigs once again. I've got three blinds made with pig pipes in front of them. Been getting some tracks and actions at them. Put out three cameras out last week seeing what time the porkers were coming by. Only have 3 cameras. Some pictures from the my walks and trail cameras. Things are looking good.

This video is on June 5th, the day before the video above with the pigs in front of my blind. The pigs in this video were about to be gone as you can see them using their noses. My shot fell short and looked horrible. The next day at home I shot this arrow that has a Tree Shark on it shot like 2 feet low at 20 yards. A wobbly broadhead on the spin test. All other arrows in my quiver were shooting good. Got to check these arrows every now and then. Probably mess it up on the last deer I shot with it.

A slow stalk with many of the pigs staring back at me several times, I slowly worked my way up the small hill. Most of the pigs left because of the odd object sneaking up to the mud hole. Two pigs remained at the mud hole. I tried to use the big water oak tree trunk to hide me. It worked and one pig left the site with red substance leaking out its right side. My truck was only 50 yards behind where the pigs were. After getting rid of some stuff I picked up the blood trail right in front of my blind. The trail was pretty easy to follow. I spotted my red lighted nock near the creek. One problem though, She wasn't dead and I had follow up shots and another short trail of her.

Awesome, you would be amazed at a cellular trail cam. I broke down got one, it tells me exactly when an what is on my cam. You’d be stalking crazy having that info.

I’m dying to find a place to shoot some pigs! There is zero up here in the mountains where I am. I haven’t killed a pig in a loooong time. Congrats on yours!
