Decided to put some meat in the freezer Monday evening before the Hurricane got us. A small storm had blown through and the wind was blowing. It felt good in the stand for the first time all season. Smoked this doe on the other side of the creek while she was hammering the acorns. Waited til she as facing the road to stick her and dang if she didnt 180 and run the opposite direction. Made for a 50 yard farther drag. It is really about my favorite time of year
