Put In / Take Out at Dames Ferry HWY 18

Is there a put in/takeout for kayaks at Dames Ferry/18 on the Ocmulgee? If so, does it have a decent amount of room for parking vehicles as well?

Actually, yes,,,, but you have to park a little over 1/4 mile away from the river. You can stop at the river on the Jones County side and unload, then drive towards Gray, PAST the signs, and park, and walk back to the river. Plenty of parking, on the shoulder of the road. Parking on the Monroe County side is not advisable. Just saw this post, or I would've answered sooner. A good/better float, catch fish, is to put in at Popes Ferry and get out at Amerson's north launch.
