Questions about worm growing

My fiancé is a catfishing fiend and her habit is getting expensive in worm/bait costs. She has gotten herself a worm growing kit and wants to start growing flat tail worms. There is all sorts of info about growing red wigglers but not much about raising flat tails. If anyone has any experience with it I would really appreciate some advice. She has a composting farm kit and my understanding is that flat tails aren't composting worms.

Can't help you with the flat tails,,,, but maybe have her try a senco or Strike king senco type worm, carolina rigged and let it sit on the bottom, might be a cheaper alternative, my buddy catches big cats this way,,,, also from what I understand, wigglers don't drown,,,, probably be good for cats,,,,
