We have about 900 acres in the Quitman county area. Georgetown area about 20 minutes from Eufaula Al.
The land is timberland. Rolling hills in pine of varied stages. Hard wood bottoms with creeks. Several foodplots across the property. Nice deer killed every year. There are hogs on the place. They come and go. Not many turkeys. Seems Ga is seeing a decline. (No turkey hunting) I have thought about doing a dove plot. Seems doves like some areas at times.
We run about 14 members on 900 acres about @ 1200 per member. Depends on lease cost. Seems to be holding steady at that. Each member gets 2 mature bucks and 2 mature doe. Immediate family members can hunt on your membership. (Wife , children under 18) kills count toward your limit. All hunters must have a Ga. lic.
We are a pin in pin out club and u can have 1 private area to hunt. All foodplots are club stands. Harvest record. We want a pic of all killed deer for our records.
We have a camp area with power for campers. Private land adjacent to the lease. Skinning shed. Local processors are not far away.
