Rain in SWGA

We got almost a inch in far south Sumter yesterday evening! Just north of Leesburg.

Good for you but it will be back to dust in 3 days...not trying to be a downer but it is so dry that rain will be sucked up quick.

We all need in the Tri State Area a nice little tropical system to come in. Our place on the Little Ohoopee when we up last weekend on the straight parts the water was ankle deep. DRY. DRY, DRY up in the SE part of Middle GA.

There`s parts of Lee County that haven`t had a drop of rain in over a month now.

Nic...same down here. I have had about .30 inches of rain since mid August but you go 1 mile down the road and nothing. Whole area from the Panhandle to SE AL to SW GA is bone dry.

Don't think I have ever seen the Chipola River this low....good time to walk for points on the upper part.

Dooly is dry, farmers are having to irrigate before they dig their peanuts.

Oh we’re still dry but at least had a little relief. We all are in desperate need of rain

So dry in NW Thomas, haven't had rain in over a month, only a lil over 3" of rain at my place since first of July...trees are struggling , plots ready to be planted I'm just waiting....
