I can't really help in the ways you said but, I'll cheerlead your search in finding a puppy. I've had several over the years as well as right now. They are one of my favorite dog breeds.

The best dog breed on the planet. They are something special. We lost our 14yo two years ago this May and I still miss her something terrible. We got her from a breeder in Dahlonega but I honestly can't remember their name. Good luck in your search.

They just had an add in the classifieds-all now sold. Says they may have another litter in 4 months. I bought a female from them last year. Nice people to deal with and a great pup.

They are great dogs, have had 6 over the years, Down to my last 2 right now and one has cancer and has gone blind.
