Rattled/Grunted one in Friday

Goet off from work at 2;30 pm and headed for Gordon County. I was hoping I would arrive in time to do some ratlling. I headed out from the cabin at 5 pm on the nose but did not have enough time to get to where I had hoped to go. At about 5:30 I opted to set up on the ground just off the logging road only 5 yards deep overlooking a bottom. Took me about 5 minutes to get my net up and all in order. I wasted no time as light was fading fast so I immediately grunted a few grunts then rattled. I'm guessing about three minutes at most went by before he came in at 12-15 yards. A small 6 pointer but a first for me rattling one up.

I did not have my bow this time because I had cut my index finger with a carving gouge and cannot bend it until it heals a bit. All should be OK for next week and I will be back with the bow. Crazy thing is he came to within easy bow range.
