I had a chance to go out to Salt Lake City for a short visit a couple of weeks ago. I got to run around the area for a couple of days. Thought I would share a couple of pictures from my trip. Weather out there was a LOT colder over & up there than down here. :)

The first picture is a group of bighorn sheep near Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area.

The second is a group of mixed waterfowl (mallards & wigeon & maybe others?) that took off out of Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge.

Gorgeous

I spent my spring break in Reno, got snowed on! It's a different world, colder, dryer, different animals, shorter hunting seasons...

thanks for sharing the pictures

Glad you enjoyed them.

I hated to give up a weekend of turkey season, but I did get to see sage grouse displaying on their lek.
