Very similar to what we did. My wife's first bow kill was with a light Easton Flatliner with a 75 grn. Spitfire at 33 lbs draw weight. Her setup now is much more reliable, no worries with shoulder shots. Of course the more she can comfortably pull the better, but low weight and heavy arrows zip right through them. Don't sweat the draw weight unless she just wants to shoot further and enjoys the workout. I've even reduced my draw weight after seeing what you can do at 40 lbs. I shoot better and enjoy it more!
