Banned again & will band again soon
We usually don't frequent this side of town. But it's a nice area and Friday night I'd like to take the family out to the lake Oconee area and Maybe eat something good on the lake. Any suggestions for resteraunts or anywhere to take the family on lake Oconee. I don't have a boat so anything suggested we will have to drive to. Thanks

I have eaten at the Bone Island Grillhouse several times and the meal has always been excellent...not too pricey....just a little.

I second the Ga Butts.

Check out Yesterday’s Cafe in downtown Greensboro.

Over near Buckhead is a little place called Bonner’s if you like fried fish

Bone Island is good, but The Silver Moon was voted best by Oconee Living magazine. A friend of mine has a house there and this is her go to restaurant. I would recommend it! :fine:

Both Bone Island and Silver Moon are excellent choices. I prefer Bone Island but Silver Moon is a close second. Since your taking the family Bone Island maybe your best bet as its on the lake with outside seating (as well as inside) and seems like I remember them having corn-hole boards outside on the grass. The shrimp and grits are UNBELIVEABLE!!!
