Satilla River Archery Club Hunting Shoot - August 24th - Douglas, GA Area

Satilla River Archery Club will be having it's annual end of the year hunting shoot this Sunday! It will be a little different than usual as it will be a 10:00 AM shotgun start. Being we are giving away awards for shooter of the year, having a long shot for a Millenium Lock On, and providing food we thought it would be great to have everyone finish at the same time for fellowship! We will also have other prizes to win as well!

This will be a hunting bow only shoot if you wish to compete. There will be three classes: Youth, Womens, and Mens.

We have had a couple people asking if there are any restrictions on what you can shoot. Here are the following rules:

No Lens
No Glue In Points
If you hunt with a longer front bar and side bar that is fine but do not show up with the setup you have on your tournament rig and expect it to be legal.

Directions to tournament:

Coming out of the city of Broxton on 441 N you will take Lindsey Merritt Rd. Go down Charlie Merritt Rd and you will take the first dirt road to your left which will have an archery sign beside it. Go down Charlie Merritt for around a 1/2 mile and the entrance to the club will be on your right with a sign.

Coming out of Pridgen on 441 S the road will be on your right by a few chicken houses up on the hill.

This is going to be a great shoot so bring your hunting bow out and kill some foam meet some good folks have some free food and maybe win a prize or two so if your in south ga come on out hope to see you there
