In the market for 22 Mag. but dont want to break the bank, as it will only be hunted with occasionally.

I have the FVXP sold at Dicks for about $250 and really like it. The scope that came with it is works, but better scopes are available and should be used to get the most out of the rifle.

We changed out the stock to a Boyds.

I have the 93F, the most basic model with the AccuTrigger and it is very accurate. I bought it at Barrows a few years ago for less than $200.
I have head shot two pretty good sized pigs and it put them right down.

If I had known how much I was going to like it I might have bought a fancier model but this one works just fine. The magazine release is kind of cheesy but it works fine and with 11 rounds it doesn't need much changing.

I have one in .17 HMR. If the .22 WMR is half the rifle the .17 is, you will not be remotely dissapointed. Definitely go for the model with the accutrigger.

Ruger sells the American for around $250 also. I have one in 17HMR and I wish I bought it long ago. CDNN has a good deal on them.
