sighting in bow on flat ground question

catch22

Senior Member
My yard has a very gentle slope from back to front. its flat from side to side, but not very wide and I cant shoot more than about 25yards wide.
If I shoot from back to front, I can shoot a long way 60-80 yards if needed for practice.......my question...will the gentle slope affect the arrow greatly? I realize this question is hard because I cant show you my yard.....just wondering in general.

Elevation and gravity does affect point of impact. More so if it is a steep angle though.
Google shooting uphill and downhill at various angle/degrees. Complicated question. It’s best to mimic how you will be hunting.

Gravity only effects linear distance.
