Somewhere up Crooked Creek......

Once upon a time on Crooked Creek there lived a short dog and a tall man who owned a 17 ft Delta blue canoe.

The tall man and his faithful sidekick often fished the lake from their electrified canoe but on this warm day in March, the deadly duo decided to get back to basics and paddle up the creek to a previously tried and proven spot called Logan’s Lagoon. Equipped with a short, not so cane pole, and one light Spinning outfit and a half cup of Red Wigglers the duo tied up the bow, anchored the stern and immediately went to work.

As the birds chirped and the light wind gently rocked the mammoth canoe like a baby cradle, bobbers soon submerged and disappeared like so much toilet paper and bread from the local Super Market.

It was a glorious morning and for a couple of hours (because of God's blessings) the tall man became a boy and the old dog was a pup once again………………

Sounds like yet another great day on the CC for the OC and Max.

It would be wonderful to see you and Ramona again.......but I think that will have to wait until the corona virus is history.

Best Wishes to you both.
