South East Louisiana Report

I couldn't hunt because I had a last minute work thing come up, but I did get to drive down to Hopedale, Reggio, and Delacroix later this morning...

Louisiana is still only seeing about a quarter of the ducks it had as recently as 2016. Most guys had two or three ducks in their bag. Very few limits. Mostly gadwall and divers. Fewer teal than normal. Most of the gadwalls were in the Biloxi Marsh area while divers were in Delacroix.

Before you come in I recommend adding divers to your decoy spread. Bluebill and ringnecks. And you can leave the mojo at home - it will flare them.

Also, most of the marsh is already gray, tan, or brown. Make sure your boat blind isn't green or it will stand out.
