Musk is trying

to perfect his "heavy lift" rocket in case rosy O'Donnell want to take a trip to outer space:D
"Falcon Heavy draws upon the proven heritage and reliability of Falcon 9. Its first stage is composed of three Falcon 9 nine-engine cores whose 27 Merlin engines together generate more than 5 million pounds of thrust at liftoff"

That was a freakin phenomenal launch. I think landing the two side boosters simultaneously at Canaveral was about as impressive.

The booster landing was awesome, but I'm smelling trouble since they haven't announced the final landing.

Yeah, they said the landing on the bardge shakes the antennas so much it knocks out the feed

Elon Musk is embarrassing NASA with what is able to achieve vs the trillions they've spent over the years and never could land a rocket stage vertically.

Oh no doubt, but that's because private companies are incentivized to innovate where government project are incentivized only the project's goals and nothing but those goals for the lowest cost possible.

Yup compare the results and cost of doing things today against NASA. Don't forget todays results build on all that NASA learned, and paid for.
