The corn has not come up the best. At this time I wouldn’t recommend it.
I may wet a hand ful in a rag to see what the Germination ratio is

kmckinnie I know from other threads you are actively and doing a great job trapping hogs. Do you have a fence around your plots? Or are they at risk from hogs?

These here are in the yard at the house. Still a risk here. We have shot them out front and back.

Sence turkey season has been in no corn anywhere and we don’t see as many tracks on the leases.
I have planted before and it looked like a Bulldozer when thru.
A lot still cane up.
That bag of corn I got just didn’t work out. I think.

The hogs seem to be in the big creek bottoms at this time.
Another reason we don’t put corn out now. What hens we have are on nest on the hills. Corn up there would just bring in a hog to eat a nest. Just my thoughts.

Looks good kmac. If the hogs don't get you you may have a "smokehouse sure thing" come deer season.

Actually I have never shot a deer off this property.
The grandkids, BkW & my mom & dad have.
I’ve shot the hogs !?
