Will be heading down to St. Simons for a long weekend at the end of May and am thinking about towing my boat down. Looking for any help I can get on where to go, what to go for, what to use, etc...

Probably should list size of boat and fishing preference. (inshore/nearshore/offshore) lots of possibillities that time of year...and all of them are good! you'll get some good info from the folks here.

Yeh, A little vague I guess. 17ft Kencraft Bayskiff CC, so nearshore and inshore. No preference, friend is into fly fishing, I'm into catching whatever I can especially if there can be variety.

Thanks in advance...

Watch the weather closer to your arival and that will determine your options. The great news about the GA coast is that you have lots of options!!!! Especialy here in the SSI area. Trout, flounder, reds, whiting, sharks and lots more can be caught here in mass quanity very close to shore and in-shore.........EJ
